alright, this will be my story on the Student's Leadership Camp (SLC)...
i assure you, this will be a long, detailed post...
pics might be updated next time, after i get them from azmee...
First day
had a slow start to d camp
realised that there was only 3 sec4s in my group (Mac-Hine)
me, hazirah and marilyn
but nevermind that
ice breakers
gave every1 their name tag and wristbands
it's blue and it glows! (a little)
attempted to bond with McMuffin
but only managed to play cling-cling with them
went to prepare for station games
helped out with setting up the lanes on the field
but it rained!
end up having our 1st game in the sports hub
took a long time to plan on the game with xiaofei and all
managed to organise a race
but before that...
AMIRAH!!! YOU ALMOST BLINDED ME!!!
my eyes got filled with flour!!!
then i panicked, asked some1 to blow away the flour (don't remember who)
then went to wash my eye
almost lost the right contact lens
anyway, during the race, kinda dirtied the whole basketball court with flour
hehe
(seniors present... DAMN!!!
heard that Alfi? DAAAAMMMNNN!!! hahax
don't worry, you're not the hated, hehe)
soon after, the lightning alarm thingy stopped
so, had 2 plan activity on the field
somehow, i became a messenger to xiaofei and hafizah
headed from field to court again and again
but it was FUN!!!
got dirtied all over
then, showered...
at night, the nightwalk
had a lot to talk about with hazirah
pre-skool (same class), family, personal thoughts (not much about that though)
only spotted by around 5 of our own group members
after that, went to bed in the 'bunk' with irwan, azmee, zaki and hafiz
hehe, far from the rest
freezing cold...
Second day
morning exercise
then amazing race
well, Mac-Hine sure bonded quite well this time round
i was well impressed
however, everytime they ran, they neglected those who were injured
after lunch, got this sort of reflection thing
and a so-called 'voting session'
had telematch
2 sec4 grps, 2 sec3 grps
played a few games
one of which we had to eat this mixed bullshit
noodles, fruits, veggies, watery... PUKE!!!
just when i thought we had 'finished' our plate
another one appeared!!!
my second dig got me nauseous
minwei!!! acip!!! you guys are outrageous!!!
then played that caterpillar-chair-thingy
we won! hahax
siti was amazing (hey bean, i stood beside siti, hehe
i took ur 'sister' away!)
she could outstretch her legs like crazy!
then, there was the drunken sailor game
ran, twirled, managed to avoid flour that was thrown by yelicia
too dizzy to notice how i dodged her
in the night, had the gala night performances
some of the groups performances was great
some i couldn't understand
but nevermind
(i realised that the Power Rangers Wild Force theme song was like metal dude!!!)
then, had to dance
right in the front
in the centre
a slow dance at first for the HSM3 song
not sure about the title, hahax
but the situation wasn't really what i hoped for
cuz' of the slightly noisy environment
and everyone had their eyes on you
next was the "all for one" from HSM2 i think
SCREWED UP THE START!!!
hahax, me and yel then just twirled around somehow
but managed to remember the other moves
all of us sec4s got covered with sweat and smiles after that
(i wonder how many kids got jealous when i danced with yel? hahahaha!!!)
in the night, faris joined us in our 'bunk'
joked around, laughed so hard i formed 8-packs!
(exaggerating)
but the jokes were so hilarious we couldn't shut our eye (except zaki)
faris was the main subject, hehe
(hahax, tetek busok!!!)
Third day
had a morning hike
and it rained after some time...
soon caught up with group 8, dunno their name, hahax
hafiz was happy he saw something blue
low plunge, hahax
then, d CCACs headed to AVA room
nominations time
for us sec4s, every post was the same, except UG I/C
FARIS!!!
(note that it is brown in colour, hahax)
i was stunned and laughed my heads off when i heard his name
we were just having a regular conversation, nothing really related to the nominations
then, a little video on the camp
soon after then, were were shoo-ed out of the school
darn that stupid bird!!! (mr robin goh)
well, i hope these memories will last forever
it was simply the best camp i've had so far
thrilled to bits, yet, hearts broken to pieces...

and to the girls whom i've accidentally touched the wrong part of your body!
i'm truly sorry!
oh, and i forgot to thank marilyn for the nutella
hehe, i guess no one realized that 2 bottles disappeared on the last day
one for me, one for hafiz, hehe

i'm close to shedding tears
but they won't spill
for i see that there's more to life than just inches of memories..."

imagine looking at a river in a valley
it keeps on flowing
just the way it should be
it crashes onto the banks, the bed
taking them on
and bound to get dragged back
will it flood the lands?
if it does,
all that matters before will no longer be
missing out on all the remaining parts
if it doesn't,
none of the things it faced will get left behind
regardless of a heavy load,
or a fine grain of sand
it keep on flowing
despite whatever it takes along with it
till it reaches the sea
where the sea takes the flow away peacefully...
you, are the river
your life is just like the flow
the daily obstacles of life you encounter
they slow you down, trying to take the best of you
will you give up? take your life away?
and forget about future... everything that usually matters...
forget about attaining joy at the end of the road...
or will you persevere? strive till your last breath?
taking along with you
all the sweet memories and bitter regrets
only to know that despite all you've been through
the story will end on a happy note
everyone faces the same challenge over and over again
but the bigger challenge is making the right choice
many have pulled through
many others trying to pull through
unfortunately, some pulled out
which one will you be?
"if i was perfect, then this would be easy
either road plausible, or both i could drown..."
